 Imagine swimming goggles during which an outsized telephone screen replaces the glass. The screen displays two images side by side, one for every eye. a group of lenses is placed on top of the screen, focusing and reshaping the image for every eye and creating a stereoscopic 3D image. The glasses have built-in sensors that track the wearer's head movements and adjust the image accordingly. the newest version of the Oculus Rift is supported by an external position tracking accessory that helps track head movements more accurately. The result's the sensation of looking around during a 3D world.

 Although Oculus and by extension computer game headsets were developed primarily as a tool for gaming only, they're now getting into other directions. Entertainment industries and filmmakers have already begun experimenting with producing films during which the viewer experiences the film as a part of the film itself.
